Description:

The General Education Diploma (GED) test is a chance to get the job or career you want. GED tests measure academic skills and knowledge expected of high school graduates. The test consists of the basic subject areas of reading, writing, math, science and social studies. The GED Testing Service is an all-computer format. The Estevan Campus is the only computer-based GED testing centre for Southeast College.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    To be eligible for Basic Education programs, you must be 18 years of age (17 years for Non-Status Indian & Metis), be out of the regular school system for at least one year, and score at a satisfactory level on a placement test to indicate a potential for satisfactory progress.
