Our Accounting and Finance concentration allows you to start working right away or receive advance credit towards earning your Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), or other professional designations. This concentration provides students with a solid background in the financial structure of business. Students develop skills in such areas as: financial and managerial accounting, systems analysis and design, auditing, taxation, and computer systems.
Business Administration students have the opportunity to enroll in Co-op Education which integrates students' academic study with related work experience in cooperating employer organizations. This program consists of four-month work terms that allow students to access unique experiential learning.

| Application Notes : | If your first language is not English, you must meet the following English Language Proficiency requirements for entry in to Selkirk College University Transfer, Diploma or Degree programs: completion of BC English 12, or equivalent; or completion, with a grade of "C+" or better, advanced core courses in the Selkirk College English Language Program and Provincial Level English 51; or submission of a TOEFL score of 213 (computer) or ibt 79-80 or better; or submission of an IELTS score of 6.0 or better; or submission of an EIKEN Grade Pre -1; or submission of an acceptable score on the Language Proficiency Index score of 4 or better. For Indian students coming through the SPP program, the IELTS requirement for diploma programs is 6.0 with no band less than 5.5. |
