Apprenticeship is a career option that involves both classroom and on-the-job training. To learn the skills required of an Automotive Service Technician in Alberta and be issued an Alberta Journeyman Certificate, a person must find a suitable employer who is willing to hire and train an apprentice.
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will maintain, diagnose and repair automotive vehicles, cars and light trucks. Automotive Service Technicians are employed by automotive repair shops, specialty repair shops, service facilities, car/truck dealerships and large organizations. |
