Description:

A degree in chemistry from Trinity Western University couples biblical principles with scientific practice—and delivers a solid foundation for scientific investigation in a multitude of careers.

Through our degree program, you will acquire theoretical principles and the laboratory skills you need for a career in chemistry, or a related career in which chemistry is an asset or requirement. As part of your chemistry studies, you may make aspirin in your introductory chemistry lab or test the pond water for compounds important in water quality.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

  •  Grade11 Precalculus 
English 12 and Precalculus 11 or 12 plus two additional Grade 12 academic subjects at a minimum overall average of 67%. A minimum grade of 60% or better is expected on the provincial examination portion of English 12.
