It is intended for those who seek an understanding of the human condition through its historical development, and it has special relevance to those wishing to prepare themselves for fields such as secondary school social science teaching, elementary school teaching, government service of all varieties, graduate study of history, and other careers requiring a liberal arts preparation. It also is an excellent undergraduate background for those contemplating professional training in law, library science, and similar fields. |
