Description:

To enable the students to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to produce drawings quickly and accurately, using a computerized work station. All topics relate to industry and include detail and assembly drawings of mechanisms, illustrations, development of objects, machine frames along with electrical and electronic drawing. Students will use the current version of AutoCAD. Advanced students will be introduced to other 3D-modeling software.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Candidates wishing to register must be at least 16 years of age and have obtained Secondary IV credits in English, French, mathematics, and moral and religious education (MRE). MRE is not required for adult students.
