As the population increases so does the demand for medical services. As the demand for medical services increases, so too does the demand for, among other things, doctors. As the number of doctors increases so too does the need for knowledgeable and effective medical/dental office administrators.
People who choose to enrol in this program appreciate the professional nature of a career in a medical/dental environment. The Medical/Dental Office Administration Program at Ican College prepares the student for work in any one of the many facets of the medical/dental community. If you are entering into the medical/dental field for the first time or have past work experience you will find that with your newly acquired skills you will be a valuable asset in a variety of areas. Ican College’s Placement Officer will meet with each student individually to discuss aspirations and personal interests, and an 8-week co-op work placement will be arranged at the end of the 15-week class/lecture/lab portion of the curriculum. |
