Description:

The objective of our program is to equip successful graduates with the knowledge and skills required to function effectively in the modern computerized accounting and finance environment. The program also hones and fine-tunes graduates' skills in the workplace.

Typically, graduates find employment in small- to medium-sized enterprises and corporate finance departments. Some potential positions include accounts receivable / accounts payable specialist, bookkeeper/accountant, finance manager, account manager, auditor, budget analyst, financial accountant, management accountant, tax consultant, and business manager (self-employed).

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, Advanced or qualify for mature student status. The course can be modified to accommodate individuals who come with some background in accounting or customer service and only require upgrading.
