This program will give you the leadership skills you'll need to eventually become a manager, supervisor or successful entrepreneur in the dynamic industry of hospitality and tourism. If you enjoy working with people and have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, then this is the program for you. This program prepares individuals for careers in hospitality tourism by focusing on the skills, competencies, and attitudes necessary to meet the needs of this industry. The program combines practical, theoretical and experiential learning through the classroom, work terms, and the opportunity to actually apply your skills on location with our program partner, a leading hotel chain in the province. The curriculum is designed to meet the standards established by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council and the provincial hospitality tourism industry.
