Description:The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Film Studies at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema provides a stimulating context for advanced study and immersion in all different aspects of cinema and moving image culture.     Incoming students will be expected to have an undergraduate degree in Film Studies with a minimum B average (GPA 3.00).

    Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]

    Applicants will be assessed by the School of Cinema’s graduate committee on the basis of the following supporting documents: Writing sample (an academic essay or article on cinema. Letter of intent (statement of purpose) outlining research interests (max. 600 words). 1 copy of undergraduate transcripts. 3 letters of recommendation. Curriculum Vitae
