The Microcomputer Support diploma program is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of microcomputer networking, architecture and hardware, as well as the software utilities and applications training necessary to compete successfully in this technology field.

Students are trained using the latest hardware and software technology. Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be prepared to enter this exciting field of technology with the ability and proficiency to determine and correct any problems that may arise with computer network systems and their software applications. In addition to becoming skilled at microcomputer service and repair, graduates will gain extensive software and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. This combination of learning, hands-on and work exposure prepares them to compete as top professionals and provides the entrepreneurial skills necessary to make their own start in this continually expanding industry.

    Students applying for admission into programs at Corona College must have a Provincial High School Graduation Diploma with an overall 60% average. Persons 19 years of age and older may be accepted under our Mature Student Policy, where an assessment would be completed.
