Description:

The Real Property Administration Diploma program will develop your expertise to become a highly versatile and in-demand professional in the property valuation and property tax sectors. A content-rich curriculum is delivered by industry experts whose goal is your success. This intensive, hands-on program offers university-level courses. Accountability, responsibility, proficiency in time management, attention to detail, diligence and hard work along with good verbal and written communication skills are required in order to meet industry-prescribed standards. The ability to work effectively both in teams and independently is also essential to succeed in this program. You will develop expertise in all aspects of property valuation – in both the property appraisal and property assessment fields, including all aspects of the property assessment system, the assessment appeals process, and property tax calculation and administration.

Program Eligibility:

- A degree or post-secondary diploma from an accredited institution. Applicants with substantial completion (75%) of a degree may be considered.
- Academic equivalents for four general arts education credits and College English
- Students with credentials from a foreign institution must be evaluated course by course through WES or ICAS
- Grade 12 Mathematics: (C) or (U) or Grade 11 Mathematics: (U) or (M)
- English proficiency at the post-secondary level.
Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0]
