The Biochemistry Program at the University of Manitoba allows students the opportunity to combine two fascinating areas of life sciences. The program offers excellent faculty members from two departments, all who have externally-funded research programs, including one provincial and two national research chair holders. Students will experience hands-on research opportunities, strong links to other programs in Science and Medicine, good preparation for graduate programs and excellent undergraduate laboratories. |

High school graduation, including 5 full credits at the Grade 12 level. A minimum average of 80% over the following, with no less than 60% in each course: - English 40S
- 50% in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics 40S (if taking PHYS 1020)
- 60% in Pre-Calculus Mathematics Math 40S and Physics 40S (if taking PHYS 1020)
- An academic 40S course
Advanced entry Applicants are those who have completed one year (24 credit hours) or more of studies in another faculty at the University of Manitoba or another recognized post-secondary institution - BIOL 1020, CHEM 1110 and 1120
