Art history is the study of many forms of visual expression, both traditional artforms such as painting or sculpture and contemporary, emerging media. Such artworks can carry passionate expressions of identity, politics or gender. Interpreting and discussing visual arts can contribute to contemporary issues including social justice, reconciliation, environmental issues or globalization. |

Students wishing to complete an Art History degree must first complete a minimum of 24 credit hours at the university level while achieving a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 or higher.
