Description:

This postgraduate program in Human Resources Management offers students relevant professional skills and knowledge. The program provides the student with the opportunity to acquire a general background in the functions of the Human Resources Management profession and hands-on training suited to national and international work environment.

Graduates will possess the skills for employment in a variety of human resources positions such as: Human resources administrator, human resources generalist, and human resource specialist (i.e. recruiter, compensation, analyst, trainer, pensions and benefits administrator, occupational health and safety officer, HRIS specialist). They may work in government, industry, banking, financial institutions, insurance, manufacturing, distribution as HR managers.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have the basics of accounting, good communication and interpersonal skills; a Bachelor or Masters in Arts, Commerce or Business Studies, or a three-year collage diploma and/or mature student with three to five years’ related work experience.
