Designed to meet the needs of adult activists who would like to learn the essentials of low-budget, activist media production. Learn how to create compelling issues-based documentaries and broadcast quality PSAs that carry the weight of authority, credibility and persuasiveness.
Invited guests and workshop facilitators include Mike Hudema (Greenpeace: Tar Sands Energy Campaigner and Global Exchange: Independence from Oil Director) and Betty Krawczyk (Environmental Activist, Author and former Political Candidate). Jennifer Abbott (Co-Director and Editor of The Corporation) will be giving workshops on using documentaries to advance activism and will be present during post-production to provide editing critiques. |
