Description:

Approved for Licensed Adult Residential Care facilities, this course teachers first aid and CPR skills for adults that can be applied at home or work. This training is suitable for parents, family members, adult care workers, federal employees and the general public. This course meets first aid requirements for Canada Labour Code, but is not equivalent to WorkSafeBC OFA Level 1. Upon successful completion, participants receive a national St. John Ambulance Emergency Adult Care certificate valid for three years and a CPR Level A certificate. This course meets 2005 ILCOR BLS guidelines for First Aid and CPR.
