Description:

The Sound for Film & Games program offers you extensive technical hands-on training that allows you to create content for both the gaming and film industries. You will develop a professional portfolio with progression through our program by working on various projects. Specific areas include: Sound design and interactive music for games utilizing the FMOD and Unity engines, Foley and sound effects recording, sound design and music composition for film, Voice-over recording and editing, creative sound processing using digital effects and techniques, mixing both stereo and surround for television and film using Steinberg’s Nuendo, for games, and much more. In addition to technical training, students will also learn the theoretical concepts of Soundscape design; understand the Sweeping Process, DM&E theory, music placement techniques for film, and the narrative language of visual media.

Prerequisites:
