For non-native speakers of English, the Intensive English Program offers year round language, cultural, and orientation programs such as the following: English for Academic Purposes (EAP); University Bridging Program (UBP); English for Personal and Professional/Practical Communication (EPPC); One-month ESL Immersion (IMM).
To meet the growing demand for people who can teach English as a Second or Foreign Language, we at Saint Mary's have designed a training program with two components: classroom study and practical experience. The Overview Course is a practical introduction to the techniques, methodologies and instructional resources used to teach English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL/EFL) to children and adults. |
