The Flight Instructor Rating offered by Montair follows the licensing requirements set out in the Canadian Aviation Regulations. Before commencing training for the Flight Instructor Rating, an applicant must hold at least a valid Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane Category) and shall have acquired not less than 20 hours instrument time. The applicant shall have completed not less than 25 hours of Instructor Rating Ground School and 30 hours of dual flight instruction. The applicant is also required to obtain not less than 70% in a written examination administered by Transport Canada. Students enrolled in Montair’s Career Pilot Program will have met all of these requirements during the course of their training. |
