| If you desire to express your creative talent through the art of accessory design, composition and construction, this program is for you. Our Jewellery Design program is a comprehensive program that will provide you with the competencies needed to become a fashion jewellery designer. Students learn the art of metalworking and beading, one of the world’s most ancient art forms, producing a collection of jewellery. Concepts in jewellery design are examined and translated into sketches and illustrations using freehand drawing techniques which are further enhanced through Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Classes in presentation, display and marketing prepare students for the job market. Students create a Portfolio illustrating their skills, talents and achievements to enter the world of art and design. |
