Applicants must accumulate 45 hours of flight time, of which 17 hours must be with an instructor and 12 hours must be solo. As well, applicants must attend 40 hours of private ground school.

Applicants must be seventeen years of age, obtain a Category 3 Medical, accumulate 45 hours of flight time, attend 40 hours of private ground school, achieve 60% on a written examination (PPHEL) and demonstrate ability on a practical flight test. |
