Description:

Students will complete a minimum of 25 hours of Instructor Rating ground school. Then the Student will have the opportunity to write the Transport Canada written examination and if a grade of 70% or above is achieved then the student will aquire the Flight Instructor Rating - Aeroplane Class 4.

Further, students are also required to complete a minimum of 30 hours of dual flight instruction on the presentation of all exercises set forth in the Flight Instructor Guider in order to be fully certified.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Before commencing Flight Training an applicant shall hold a Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot License (Aeroplane) and have completed a minimum of 20 hours instrument time, of which a minimum of 10 hours shall be instrument flight time.
