The Master of Education in Secondary Education (M.Ed.) develops professional educators who are reflective practitioners dedicated to the scholarship of teaching and school renewal. Employing a digital portfolio-based assessment system, university faculty and mentor teachers will guide the candidate's progress in achieving professional standards and proficiencies.
Hawaii Pacific University's Teacher Education Program will prepare candidates to become competent, professional educators through classroom discussions and field experiences. Teacher candidates will learn in small classes and will enjoy individual attention by university faculty and mentor teachers.
