This program will help you meet others, discover your skills and talents, refresh your basic mathematics and English skills, and introduce you to keyboarding. You will examine your hopes for the future, whether it be to try school again, to get a job, or to make other changes in your life. New Directions offers the opportunity to gain self-confidence, recognize your skills, explore career possibilities and examine first-hand the job market in the Brooks area.
Some topics covered in the program include Creative Problem Solving, Exploring Career and Education Opportunities, Communication with Others, Goal Setting, How to Deal with Anger and many others.
