Description:Since computer science developed out of mathematics, the two disciplines have a strong relationship. A large part of computer science research relies on the collaboration between mathematics and computer science. Disciplines with strong background in both areas include graphics, bioinformatics and the design and analysis of algorithms.

This combined program lets you combine your interests in mathematics and computer science. Although students are considered to be equally part of both Computer Science and Mathematics in this combined program, their "home" department is Mathematics and Statistics.
