f you like the idea of using your creative and caring capabilities to enhance the wellness and beauty of others, the study of esthetics and spa therapies can lead you to a fulfilling career. In this program, you will learn all aspects of the profession in a practical and therapeutic environment.

Success in this intense program demands a strong work ethic and effective time management skills. You learn both the theory and the practice of esthetics services including facials, body care and treatment, hair removal, manicures and pedicures. Advanced techniques for the treatment of aging skin, diabetic and problematic foot care are also covered. The latest ingredients, equipment and technologies are part of this comprehensive program. In addition to preparation for the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia's provincial Esthetics exam, you will have the opportunity to become certified in gel nails, aromatherapy, air brush make-up, advanced foot care, Brazilian bikini wax, and eyelash enhancements.
