Application Notes : | Applicants required to provide evidence of English proficiency must meet one of the following four proficiency requirements: The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 600 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based), and Test of Written English (TWE) with a score 5 (discretionary range of 4.5), and Test of Spoken English (TSE) with a score of 50. The Michigan English Assessment Battery (MELAB) with a minimum overall score of 85 and a minimum composition score of 83. In addition, applicants must present a minimum score on the oral test of three (3). The Canadian English Language Assessment (CAEL) with a minimum overall band score of 70 Successful completion of the University of Guelph Open Learning and Educational Support Advanced Level of the English Language Certificate Program at the University of Guelph.
