In addition, applicants are expected to have received a sound training in biological science. Applicants with an excellent background and an A- or better average may apply for direct admission to the PhD program. Others may apply for the MSc program, with option to transfer to the PhD program after one year, contingent upon the recommendation of the student’s advisory committee.

The claims must be verified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Test scores are valid for two years from the date the test was written.
