These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
In order to meet the admission requirements to the General Arts and Science program, applicants are required to be 19 years of age or older by the program start date OR have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (U/C) OR Open (O) preparation levels with Grade 12 English (C/U) Level OR have successful completion of the Mature Student Assessment OR have successful completion of the General Education Development Test (GED) OR have the appropriate credits from the Academic and Career Entrance program (ACE) - LBS level 5 Communications and LBS level 4 Mathematics.
If you already have postsecondary-level courses from a recognized college or university, you may already have a substantial amount of credit toward a General Arts and Science Certificate. You may only need to complete the required courses to qualify (refer to the policy on Transfer Credits and obtaining a second certificate).
