This program provides a comprehensive medical laboratory education. Graduates of the program are eligible to write the Medical Laboratory Professionals Association of Ontario certification examination for Medical Laboratory Technicians to become a certified MLPAO member.
Specific topics covered in this program will be: Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Basic Chemistry, Phlebotomy & Electrocardiogram, Microbiology, Hematology, Immunology, Cytology, Histopathology, Standards of Practice, and Computer fundamentals. |

Applicants are required to have: an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent OR Mature students status - 18 years of age or older and pass a pre-entry evaluation. |
