| This is a full-time program designed for those who wish to enter the building service industry. Training includes all aspects of sanitation and cleaning operation of equipment, correct application of chemicals, WHMIS, Basic First Aid, Operating your own cleaning business and six week of on-the-job training with industry professionals. Topics also include: stripping and buffing floors, waxing, wall washing, washroom and window cleaning, fire prevention, carpet cleaning and equipment training. |

Applicants must be high school graduates and/or 19 years of age or older, have sufficient English skills, have proof of a negative TB test or chest x-ray, and be in general good health. Students must be without allergies or any condition which may be aggravated by the handling of food, cleaning and laundry products. |
