| The Veterinary Hospital/Office Assistant program provides comprehensive training designed to prepare an individual for a career in the field of animal care especially companion animals. As a graduate, you could be the front office person promoting the hospital and assisting the veterinarian as he/she actively engages in the art and science of companion animal practice. With extensive computer, human relations and pet care training, you will be skilled in the medical and administrative aspects of the veterinary office and animal care environment. Graduates may find opportunities for employment for veterinary clinics, small animal hospitals, pet stores, humane societies, municipal shelters, and associated pet business offices. |
