CCNM is the only naturopathic college in Canada approved to grant degree. CCNM's Bachelor of Naturopathy is a post-university professional program requiring a Bachelor's degree for admission. We provide an intensive four-year program that includes more than 1,200 hours of clinical experience and involves more than 3,000 hours of classroom training. Our program covers three major areas of study: biomedical sciences, clinical sciences and naturopathic therapeutics. CCNM in an accredited member school of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges. Our program is accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME), a programmatic accrediting agency for naturopathic medical education.
The CNME accreditation enables CCNM students to write the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX), offered by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE). Passage of the NPLEX is required for licensure in most regulated jurisdictions, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and those states in the U.S. that regulate the practice of naturopathic medicine. |

To be considered for admission to the naturopathic program, applicants must have completed a three- or four-year bachelor's degree in any discipline at an accredited institution with prerequisites in general biology, physiology, organic chemistry, psychology and humanities. To accommodate the growing number of interested applicants who lack these specific prerequisites, CCNM offers a series of prerequisite science courses at the undergraduate level, which can be completed on a part-time basis prior to admission into the naturopathic program.
In addition, the institute recommends applicants complete courses in some or all of the following areas to prepare for the naturopathic program curriculum:

| Application Notes : | The decision to admit an applicant is based primarily on the applicant's undergraduate grade point average. Historically, the average cumulative GPA of accepted students has been 3.3 on a four-point scale, encompassing a range of 2.7 to 4.0.
International Medical Graduate (who have completed their university study at an institution outside North America) may apply for the for the 24-month bridge delivery of the naturopathic program or must have their transcripts evaluated and translated (if necessary) on a course-by-course basis. |
