The spa beauty therapy program provides students with a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology and functions. In addition, training on identifying key principles, benefits, contra-indications, and actions applied to specialized treatments in the spa beauty industry will be covered.
Students will be taught a variety of therapeutic treatments used in high-end spas that concentrates on providing clients with a relaxing experience. The prime focus of this module is for students to understand the difference between a relaxation treatment and a therapeutic treatment. The various treatments discussed in the module include body wraps, scrubs and masks, along with Swedish and stone massage. |
