Description:

The Master of Music Production and Technology is our two year full-time flagship diploma program for serious students who wish to engage in an intensive, portfolio based, music program. This exciting and highly developed program is designed to educate students to compose and produce music for a variety of commercial requirements, from self-published single songs to music for film and commercials. Learn to work in a professional environment and produce on industry standard platforms such as ProTools, Cubase / Nuendo, Reason, Abletons Live, and other widely popular software and hardware.

Develop your music composition skills through extensive contemporary music theory classes, with focus on ear training, arranging and orchestration. Compliment this with technology classes that take you from the essentials of Audio and Midi knowledge, to the esoteric use of virtual instruments and audio editors, sound processing techniques, vocal processing, and mixing and mastering techniques. Learn how to utilize the latest software for recording use and operate professional studio hardware equipment such as analog mixers, outboard effects, and set up complex microphone configurations. In this program, the emphasis is on creating a professional portfolio that can get you the attention in the industry required to raise above all the competition.
