Description:

This is a full-time four-year program - approximately 4,800 hours of class and preceptor time. Our four-year program includes approximately 1,200 hours of clinical training and culminates in the professional Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine designation.

There are no electives at the Boucher Institute, as the six modalities (botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, nutrition, physical medicine, psychology and counselling, and traditional Asian medicine) are taught to ensure graduates are equally strong in all current standard naturopathic modalities. We offer traditional Asian medicine as part of the curriculum, and our students accumulate sufficient classroom and clinical practice hours to be eligible to practice acupuncture upon graduation.
