Description:

The Office Assistant program helps develop fundamental computer, office administration and professional business skills. Emphasis is placed on learning operating systems, developing strong office support skills, and gaining in-depth knowledge of the most popular word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software applications in use today. Superior professional skills are developed in this business diploma program, which are always highly sought after by employers. Upon graduating from this program, you will be familiar with the procedures required to streamline and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of a business office. Successful graduates will be ideally suited for administrative positions in small to medium-sized companies where superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, as well as a broad knowledge of software applications, are required.

    The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
