Our department offers comprehensive programs of study in Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Graduate level.Graduate students work with the research supervisor of their choice, through close faculty mentorships, to create independent, original research with meaningful and real-world applications. Our faculty members have active research programs in a variety of areas, including synthetic inorganic and organic chemistry, materials science, surface science, solid-state chemistry and medical biochemistry.
The department is well known for providing an enthusiastic and friendly environment in the pursuit of a graduate education. The life of a graduate student is an engaging one. Not only will you be conducting your own research and completing graduate course requirements, you will have a great opportunity to be involved in teaching assistantships at various levels, including community outreach and laboratory preparation.
