| Gain a flexible set of knowledge and skills that positions you for employment in industrial settings as well as careers in business and information technology. Through theory, lab exercises, and hands-on projects such as construction of a power supply using electronic test equipment, fabrication equipment, and soldering you will learn the fundamentals of electronic and electrical components, and the devices and circuits used in industrial settings. A work practicum placement gives you an opportunity to apply what you've learned and add to your skill-set through a real-world work experience and participation in MITT's Bridging to Work workshops gives you a solid foundation in the employability and essential skills employers demand. |

Manitoba high school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent, including:
- Grade 12 Math (40S) with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
- Grade 12 English Language Arts (40S) with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
