Pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree at Manitoba's only research-intensive university will prepare you to become a successful K-12 teacher. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at the University of Manitoba is an after-degree program. It is a two-year program that follows the completion of a first bachelor's degree*.
The B.Ed. program offers stream options that allow you to choose the age group you want to learn to teach. The streams available include:
•Early Years (K - Grade 4)
•Middle Years (Grade 5 - 8)
•Senior Years (Grade 9 -12)
*Your first university degree and the courses you have taken must meet the B.Ed. admissions requirements.

The Bachelor of Education program is a two year program following the completion of a first degree of at least 90 credit hours (three years in duration). Many programs will require or recommend specific high school program over and above their admission requirements. |
