Description:

In the Petroleum Engineering Technology program you’ll be trained in all areas of the upstream petroleum industry, including exploration, field operations, drilling, economic analysis, and reserves determination. From the office to the field, graduates will ultimately be responsible for many of the technical activities involved in the production of oil and gas.


Graduates find work as petroleum engineering technologists in the upstream oil and gas industry in areas such as exploration and development, field operations, drilling, computer applications, economic analysis and reserves determination.

  •  Grade12 English 
Completion of the following courses or equivalents:



At least 60% in Math 30-1 or Pure Math 30, or at least 75% in Math 30-2,


At least 60% in English Language Arts 30-1 or 75% in English Language Arts 30-2,


At least 60% in Chemistry 30,


At least 60% in Physics 20.



All applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency prior to admission, including students educated in Canada.
