Description:Combine physical geography and field research with computer-aided spatial analysis (e.g., geographic information systems; aerial and satellite image analysis) to study the natural and human-induced forces that are shaping our planet. You will be equipped to assess and address the impacts of natural hazards on society such as flood-plain mapping and emergency management, human impacts on environment (e.g., water pollution and watershed management); and how natural systems are changing due to climate change (e.g., mapping of invasive species).   •  Grade12 English 
  • 2 of  Grade12 Biology  or  Grade12 Chemistry  or  Grade12 Physics 
  •  Grade12 Calculus and Vectors 
Applicants are required to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), with ENG4U, Calculus and Vectors, 2 courses from: biology, chemistry, physics, and 2 additional courses.

Two of three 4U high school science courses (i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics) are required for admission; completion of all three is highly recommended. Applicants who lack the third science course will take a replacement course in their first semester.

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 85] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 89] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70]
