|Description:||This certificate program will provide the necessary skills to work in a Human Resources department. Topics covered include understanding human behaviour in an organization, the labour market, compensation schemes, health and safety legislation, the importance of training, information systems for human resources, interviewing, hiring and understanding how unions relate to management. The program has nine mandatory courses and one elective course. Most courses in the program are approved to be used for the National Knowledge Exam course requirements for the CHRP designation through the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO).
