These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
You will typically need a strong upper second class honours degree (65% or higher) or an international equivalent degree in a subject such as: Biology, Biological Sciences, Ecology, Zoology, Natural Sciences, Marine Biology/Science/Zoology, Freshwater Biology/Science, Aquatic Biology/Science, Biosciences, Animal Behaviour, Global Change Biology, Conservation Biology and Ecology, Ecology and Conservation, Ecological and Environmental Sciences or Environmental Sciences. We will, however, consider any other degree subject on a case by case basis.
We will consider your application if your interim grades are currently slightly lower than the programme's entry requirements and may make you an aspirational offer. This offer would be at the standard level, so you would need to achieve the standard entry requirements by the end of your degree.
We will also consider your application if your final overall achieved grade is slightly lower than the programme's entry requirement.
If your achieved grade is lower than our entry requirements, your application may be more likely to receive an offer if you have additional relevant work experience or qualifications. If you have one of the following, please include your CV (curriculum vitae / résumé) when you apply, showing:
* evidence of 12 months of significant, relevant work experience, such as science-based public engagement, TV and radio, journalism, conservation, science teaching, or science and nature policy.
* a postgraduate qualification.
See international equivalent qualifications on the International Office website.
