The Special Education undergraduate program leads to eligibility for Collaborative Special Education K-6 Certification or Collaborative Special Education 6-12 Certification. Individuals completing the Elementary Education undergraduate program can add a teaching certificate in Early Childhood Special Education. Students will spend significant periods of time in K-12 grade setting working hands-on with students with disabilities. School experiences will include resource and special class placements as well as inclusion placements. Special education teachers are in high demand and sought out by all local school districts. |

Requirements: - University of South Alabama International Application for Admission with the $35 processing fee
- Academic records detailing course work completed in secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 as calculated by the Office of International Admissions and Student Programs.
- English Proficiency Requirement- submit one of the following (unofficial copies of scores will be accepted for admission, but official copies will be required prior to enrollment)
- Deposits - A non-refundable admissions deposit of $500 USD will be required of a student before an I-20 or DS-2019 is issued.
