Political Science majors study the historical, philosophical, and practical underpinnings of governments, politics, and policies. Political science majors learn to evaluate actual or proposed courses of political action by analyzing them from a historical and comparative perspective, and examining the evidence for and against them. Majors in political science thus prepare to participate actively in public affairs, to enter graduate and professional schools, or to participate directly in a variety of areas including government service, foreign affairs, and business. |

Requirements: - University of South Alabama International Application for Admission with the $35 processing fee
- Academic records detailing course work completed in secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 as calculated by the Office of International Admissions and Student Programs.
- English Proficiency Requirement- submit one of the following (unofficial copies of scores will be accepted for admission, but official copies will be required prior to enrollment)
- Deposits - A non-refundable admissions deposit of $500 USD will be required of a student before an I-20 or DS-2019 is issued.
