Description:

Geology majors study the Earth’s physical, chemical, and biological features and evolution over a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. A geology major’s education encompasses a broad spectrum of studies and draws from all the basic sciences: chemistry, physics, and biology. The Geology Program is justifiably well known for its integration of education and research opportunities for students.

    Requirements:

    • University of South Alabama International Application for Admission with the $35 processing fee
    • Academic records detailing course work completed in secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 as calculated by the Office of International Admissions and Student Programs.
    • English Proficiency Requirement- submit one of the following (unofficial copies of scores will be accepted for admission, but official copies will be required prior to enrollment)
    • Deposits - A non-refundable admissions deposit of $500 USD will be required of a student before an I-20 or DS-2019 is issued.
    Test Scores:
    • DuoLingo or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration)
