Provides the opportunity to design an interdisciplinary major in the College of Liberal Arts. It is closely related to political science and emphasizes issues affecting relations between East Asia and the United States. This major requires a variety of political science courses. It also has an economics, history, and East Asian studies component. Students must complete an internship and reach an upper-intermediate level of proficiency in an East Asian language (Japanese, Chinese, or Korean). |

Requirements: Completion of High School (Secondary School) or Equivalent - Have graduated or will graduate from an accredited secondary or high school, or
- Have completed or will complete an IB diploma or GCE A Level program, or
- Possess a GED (General Education Development) certificate, Kosotsu Nintei Shiken (formerly Daiken), or its equivalent. (Applicants are recommended to apply with at least 15 college-level semester credits to strengthen their application.)
