Description:

The society we live in has long since been deemed an era of upheaval. The status quo has not changed, and events that make waves around the world are constantly occurring in various locations. From local issues, such as political and diplomatic unrest and financial crises, to common human struggles such as the destruction of nature and extreme weather disasters, humanity has a list of problems to address. At the same time, however, it is also true that new technologies and business opportunities are being created, and hope for a promising future still exists. You, the generation that will live in the future, will be required to be individuals that persevere and are flexible enough to read these changes and immediately respond accordingly. The Global Business and Economics Program at KUAS (KUAS Biz) focuses on nurturing globally active business-persons.

Kyoto is a cultural city with 1,000 years of history, but it also exists as a commercial city with many world-class high-tech industries and well-established companies that have been operating for centuries. It is also home to many start-up companies and successful entrepreneurs. In this program, students will acquire the business skills necessary for shaping the future of our society by experiencing such economics and management firsthand.
